Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Watersystemen - Bekken</SPAN><SPAN>, met opsplitsing van het (officiële) Dijlebekken in het (</SPAN><SPAN>bij ons </SPAN><SPAN>in praktijk gebruikte) Dijle- en Zennebekken. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>Hydrografisch-administratieve eenheid van Vlaanderen, die de ruimtelijke groepering (dissolve) is van captatiezones van de waterlopen die uitmonden in een belangrijke rivier. De bekkens komen overeen met de bekkens zoals bedoeld in Art 20 van het decreet Integraal Waterbeleid. De watersysteem bekkens zijn een bevriezing van de toestand van de VHA-bekkens op 29/10/2007.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>De Vlaamse overheid streeft naar duurzame ontwikkeling van de watersystemen in Vlaanderen. Een watersysteem is een samenhangend en functioneel geheel van oppervlaktewater, grondwater, waterbodems en oevers, met inbegrip van de daarin voorkomende levensgemeenschappen en alle bijhorende fysische, chemische en biologische processen en de daarbij horende technische infrastructuur. Het waterbeleid van de Vlaamse overheid is uitgewerkt in het "Decreet betreffende het integraal waterbeleid van 18 juli 2003". Hierin worden de watersystemen op basis van hydrologische, geomorfologische, ecologische en functionele eigenschappen ingedeeld. Er bestaan verschillende niveaus van watersysteemgrenzen: stroomgebiedsdistricten, stroomgebieden, deelstroomgebieden of bekkens, waterschappen en deelbekkens.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
